... or it was supposed to be. My dad guessed Renee Ruso or Naomi Watts and my sister said Kate Bosworth. I THOUGHT it looked like her, but then again I was born almost 30 years after she died. Done with 4b, 5b and mechanical pencils on 18x18 inch poster sized white paper.
My first thought was Marilyn, but upon closer inspection, and the power of suggestion, I can see how it could look like someone else. Fantastic work, though.
Off topic comment, I love your avatar! I am listening to NIN - somewhat damaged right now and your dudes face keeps changing like it's on beat with the music... just a weird coinidence, but cool.
Thank you! It's funny how different the portrait looks on the computer as to real life. It's on a huge 18x18 inch canvas so it's not something I can scan, I can only take a digital picture of the picture. But even in person, the mouth and a few other minor features are just a little off. I'm still pretty happy with the result though. Thanks for lookin!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
