It's been almost a full year since Nathan and I started our business and so far, WOW. Has it grown. We can not only pay our landlord, but also our mortgage too! We just crossed our 700-customer mark yesterday, and we're able to work 10 hours a day without lack of work, which is good I suppose, but exhausting. And absolutely no advertising, so salesmen... GO AWAY. Seriously, we don't need your $1200 a month program, so stop begging me to get into it.
Game Writing - I've completed 8 chapters of my novel, which I've sorely neglected these last 3 months, but I plan on spending some time on it again when we take our vacation. Oh gosh, I miss school and being just engolfed in my hobbies. The real world of working has kind of put a damper on them. On the bright side, though, I have had some more Maya time with my boob-monster, who I will surely post pictures of.
Kids - No kids in the oven, thank goodness. I don't think we'd have any time for them, but our kitties are all grown up, size-wise. They still act like kittens but are a whopping 10 lbs and 9 lbs. I've also adopted 3 stray cats outside, who I feed, cause our darned neighbors sorely neglect them. They're all beaten and scratched up missing huge patches of fur.
Anyhow, I'm back to my babbling, so while I'm at it, I'm going to open up my novel again and try to get the juices flowing. If anyone would ever like to give my rough draft a read, please let me know. Since my dreams of becomming a Game Writer has taken a turn down the toilet, for now, I've taken to writing a sci-fi novel. It's still unrefined, but I'd love for someone to give it some feedback. Maybe someday, just someday, someone in the game industry can take it serious.
And I'm still listening to Lady Gaga for, like, the 900th loop.
